Privacy notice
Privacy by default, with clear boundaries.
This notice explains the information used to deliver NetCalcKit, how optional analytics works, and the choices available to every visitor.
Last updated August 24, 2026Calculator inputs
Values entered into NetCalcKit calculators are processed locally in your browser. The application does not submit those calculator values to NetCalcKit servers. Do not enter sensitive personal information into fields that are intended for file sizes, speeds, hours, device counts, or IP examples.
Standard website requests
Like most websites, the hosting and security infrastructure may process ordinary request information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, time, and diagnostic or security signals. This can be necessary to deliver the site, protect it from abuse, and investigate technical failures.
Analytics, advertising, and cookies
NetCalcKit uses Google Analytics 4 only after you select “Allow analytics.” The Google tag is not loaded and no Analytics data is sent before permission is granted. If you reject optional analytics, the calculators, guides, and essential site features continue to work normally.
After permission, Google Analytics may process pages viewed, approximate location, browser and device information, referring source, sessions, scrolling, outbound clicks, site search activity, video engagement, file downloads, and form interactions supported by enhanced measurement. Calculator input values, email messages, passwords, and payment information are not sent to Analytics.
Google Analytics uses first-party identifiers such as the _ga cookie to distinguish sessions and visitors. Google states that IP addresses are used to derive approximate location and are discarded before being logged. Advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalization, and Google signals are disabled in this implementation.
Your choice is stored in your browser under the local setting “netcalckit:analytics-consent.” Use the “Privacy choices” control at any time to change or withdraw permission. Withdrawing permission stops future Analytics loading on later pages and removes accessible NetCalcKit Analytics cookies from the browser.
Advertising is not active. Before advertising is enabled, this notice and the consent system will be updated for the relevant providers, identifiers, regions, and legal requirements.
Contact information you send
If you email NetCalcKit, we receive the address, message, and any information you choose to include. We use it to respond, investigate corrections, or evaluate a business inquiry. Avoid sending passwords, payment information, or other unnecessary sensitive data.
External links and changes
External websites have their own privacy practices. We may revise this notice when the site, providers, or legal requirements change. The updated date will identify the latest published version.
